I thought this would be easy voting this week since I dislike Giordano and thought I disliked Campin. But Campin's actually great! As you've mentioned before, the IAT image algorithm is just screwing him over. I vote that you just pull that awful first one!

Carpaccio continues to grow on me. He seems so not of his time. He actually reminds me of art in current graphic novels. Which sounds both like faint praise and an insane compliment.

Perugino forever!

I like Boudin and Chase! But between those guys and Daubigny, how many blurry en plain air can the ladder handle? I'll go with Campin, Carpoaccio, Perugino, and Boudin.

I gotta take the guy who did the first one. An aging Cyclopse blasts a sleeping Sabretooth in the face with an energy blast. BOOM!

Wait, Chuckdaddy comments on here? I had almost forgotten all about him. I miss those blogging days. : (

It is good to have Dr. Noisewater stopping by again.

So, what it is, is, I'm going to vote for Perugino of course, and then also Campin; I completely agree with Chuck that Campin is much better than he comes off in his first two images.

Then, I'm going to vote against Giordano and Carpaccio, completely without malice. They are both fine painters whose paintings just don't do it for me: Carpaccio is just too stiff for my taste, and Giordano is... let's say not stiff enough.

Campin, yes! May I point out that he is Flemish, not Italian? Perugino is the other stand-out for me in this very fine crowd. Giordano is just too too for me, but am glad to see he has some supporters on his way out.
