I love his style!I like in hodlers second photo the emothion you can see on the mans face and o the first one although I dont love it i do like how he did the landsape. I LOVE KIEFER!!! I like the collage and how it kinda shows emotion in a weird way. it looks like he did different medias. and it kinda looks like its melting.I like how fragnard makes you feel like you are there. in the room with the girl reading the book or hearing her play the piano. I also love th way he uses colors and sawdows. well I am SUPOR happy that the terniment is back on. BYE!!!!!!!

Yay! I missed the Ladder, too. And, in fact, I'm pretty much agreeing with Nora about everything this week. Fragonard, Kiefer, Hodler, and Chase.

From Becca we have: "my favorites... are Vasarely's distorted boobs and Leighton's curled up lady in orange (that's my fav) and kiefer's sooty field and Hodler's straight on man w scraggley beard"

Hiiiiiii, I kinda miss the Ladder too. And I miss you, Reader, of course. I definitely missed Hodler, and Fragonard a little, and Lord Leighton oddly enough. I didn't especially miss Siberechts, but moooo....

And then Susan says "Hi Michael -- I'm glad to see some others want to vote too. My votes are: Vasarely, Leighton, Hodler & Chase."

Oh my word! Welcome back. I wandered back in here tonight (I thought of you becuase GO DUCKS) after not dropping by for I don't know how long, to find by some coincidence that you're back in the chair. Exceedingly glad to hear it.
Very pleased that I have four votes this week because I was struggling to rank them, but I'll take Vasarely, Fragonard, Hodler and Chase, please.

I vote for: William Merritt Chase, Ferdinand Hodler, Anselm Kiefer, and Frederic Leighton. Leighton's paintings are like meringues and I'm not a huge fan, but Jean-Honoré Fragonard's butchered rendering of a cat kicks him off the list.
