Henri Cartier-Bresson, but then who to choose? Torn between Smithson and Heysen, Smithson and Heysen, Smithson and Heysen ...

Okay, Smithson, with hopes that Morgan's love of trees gets my uncast vote for Heysen.

This is a hard one! I like all of the artists just fine, but I can't pick any that rise above the others. I think I'll vote for cultural giant Norman Rockwell and literal landscape artist Robert Smithson.

So...hard...to...narrow...down...to...just...two!

I'll go for Eliasson and Rockwell, although it could really be any of them.

Yeah, I like all of them. Cartier-Bresson for sure then… Rockwell.

Yeah, it's a strong bunch. But I'm delighted to cast votes for Henri Cartier-Bresson and Norman Rockwell.

I'll take the narrative power of genre painter Norman Rockwell, and then... well, Heysen, I guess. I'd like to see some Filinov again, because he isn't looking anything near as good in reproduction what I remember live, but it's been a long time.

Votes by mail for Cartier-Bresson and Grandma Moses -- "a vote partly of sentiment, because I met her when I was 16, but I do like her work."

The Third Flight of Phase 2 wraps up, and is the first flight to have a clear cut first and second place winner. Advancing to Tournament entries of their very own are the top seed, Henri Cartier-Bresson, and a dark horse candidate, the American genre painter Norman Rockwell. The others, though, will no doubt always cherish the nomination and the thrill of winning through to the second round of the Play-In Tournament!
