Your Thursday Boring Postcard from Michael5000

YAKIMA
Washington

This newly remodeled facility offers nearly 25,000 sq. ft. of column-free, divisible meeting space.  The Yakima Convention Center lies in the heart of Yakima in the beautiful Yakima Valley in Central Washington.

Provenance: Purchased in Yakima, Washington, 2011, despite open scepticism of counter clerk.

woohoo, go for it Yeahkima! I like the minimalist bravado of the empty banners.

I was actually kind of impressed with how good they make it look.

You BOUGHT that? I mean, I'm not surprised YOU bought it, I'm surprised that it was offered with the expectation that people would buy it.

@Aviatrix-- I was wondering if that was why the clerk was skeptical about Michael5000's insistance on paying for it, too....

Michael, where did you buy the card? That image is very dated. I live in Yakima and the convention center has gone through many facelifts, does not look like that at all now. Matter of fact there's now an outdoor plaza now where that image was taken

Anon: Hmm, it was at a truckstop/service station just off the freeway at the western end of... you know, I think it might have been the western end of Ellensburg. It's been a few months.
