The Wednesday Post

Greetings from the C-Artists of Yesteryear
Five more postcards from beyond the Tournament.

Roger Campin went 0 and 2 to Canaletto and Antonio Canova, and left  the Tournament on February 2, 2013.

Annibale Carracci also lost out on two straight, first to CarrĂ  and then to Caro. He left us on February 24, 2013.

Benvenuto Cellini's alphabetical proximity to Cezanne and Champaigne arguably made things kind of tough on him. He too went two-and-out, leaving us on March 30, 2013.

William Merritt Chase, similarly, was crushed between Chardin and Christo, and went two-and-out on April 13, 2013.

And last and, well, you make the call, Frencesco Clemente lost to Clouet and Copley, leaving the Tournament about a year ago: May 3, 2013.
