The penultimate review of my CD finds from half-price day at the Friends of the Multnomah County Library Annual Booksale.

Whoa. Where has this record been all my life? Around, I guess: it's only two years younger than I am. But damn! It's one long festival of groovy sounds. I think it's been waiting for me to be ready for it.
Prognosis: Cool, man.

When I was about 24 or so, one of the prettiest girls I've ever known asked me if I wanted to go see Miles Davis. I said "no thanks" - further proof that I am an idiot!
Someone gave me the 6 CD set of "The Complete Bitches Brew Sessions", which includes lots of extra tracks and snippets. You're welcome to borrow if if you're interested.
I have that on vinyl, and I just can't dig it as much as, say, Tribute to Jack Johnson. I really want to get some Sun Ra stuff. He is like a pimp-daddy philosopher from another planet.
