Last Call for Movie Nominations

Well! The response to Tuesday's request for nominations for a movie list represent 2007-2010 has been handsome! It has included several movies that I/we have already seen -- I/we haven't been QUITE the total movie hermit implies in the Tuesday post, perhaps:
  • Up -- cute!
  • Harry Potter and the Yadda Yadda Yadda -- they are what they are. I liked the most recent one.
  • Wall-E -- quite good.
  • Star Trek -- cute!
  • Coraline -- good.
  • Iron Man -- bang! pow!
  • Slumdog Millionaire -- I kind of loved this one.
  • Before the Devil Knows You're Dead -- I found this one a bit disappointing.
  • The Lives of Others -- Smashing.
Also: Mrs.5000, I'll re-watch The Fall with you anytime. It, too, was smashing.

Which leaves the following active nominations. This is your last chance to add to the list! Voting begins soon....
  • An Education
  • Charlie Wilson's War
  • Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs
  • The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
  • The Dark Knight

Kung-fu Panda? I think some people are abusing the integrity of your intentions....

All right, we'll get Avatar on there for form's sake. Also, Austin's additions.

Abusing my intentions? Perhaps, but if no one ever tried to subvert my intentions I never would have got to read The Eyre Affair.

"Got" to read? Don't you mean "Had" to read???

I recommend "The Assasination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford."

I also enjoyed "In Bruges"; it won't win any awards, but I'll add it to my recommendations.

I vote for Avatar if you can still watch it in 3D, and Sleep Dealer.
