Okay, I moved my misplaced Flag Votes. Now, about the postcard: pictures of dead vegetation ARE quite riveting. Further, this excitement is only excelled by the lame titles with which these mountains are dubbed. (Baker Pear? Not Peak?)

It was to me the most boring postcard I had ever seen. You can't even watch the grass grow, because it's only one picture.

Good eye, Elaine. I've checked the archives and it is indeed "Peak," although that's not the kind of thing we rightly call a "peak" here in the land of glaciated volcanic cones.

Aviatrix: I like this one as a minimalist composition of color and line. The yellow diagonal is especially dramatic!
