Artemeisia Gentileschi! I bet the third woman has a sword cached in her lute, too.

I'm sticking with Artemisia in this one. (Yes, despite the iconic power of The Raft of the Medusa, etc. etc.) I just think she's pretty awesome.

I went against her in Round One, and I'm cool with Gericault, but right now I'm feeling the Artemeisia Gentileschi. Judith looks pretty damn capable both during and after, doesn't she.

An email voter goes with Géricault.

I'm still going with the Gentileschi.

Gericault by a nose.

Gentileschi by a head. 12 votes to 4. This was my birthday 2013 post, held open for a long time by a parade of ties in the opposite bracket slot. Both artists will jump back into the fray this week!
