Albert Bierstadt. I find Blake's poetry more interesting than his painting.

Hmm, well... Bierstadt was my first thought, but thinking more I'm going with Blake.

Yeah, Blake was amazing in several disciplines, but looking art-to-art I've got to go with Bierstadt.
Saw my favorite weather vortex (second from top) at the Boston MFA and it just swirled right off the wall.

Blake's grown on me during his sabatical. And I'm starting to sour, just a bit, on the excessively luminescent Hudson School.

BIERSTADT!! HUDSON SCHOOL!! IT'S MY HOME!! Also, Blake needs to get over himself. Maybe Bierstadt does too. But his pictures are better.

Vote by mail: a hard one for Bierstadt.

And for me, an easy one for Bierstadt. USA! USA!

William Blake. The last one reminds me of the d'Aulaires' Norse Gods and Giants. Basically, I like the look of his headspace.

Bierstadt. Blake was coming home strong, especially with that last little number, but I'm a sucker for a snowy mountaintop towering in the distance. And that sunlight....whoa.

Bierstadt nurses an early lead and hangs on for the 8-6 win. He's heading to the semi-finals!
