I can't decide, so I'm sitting out this round.

Eh, Giotto.

A few critics have referred to Giacometti's success in depicting modern man's alienation. Yep, check, other artists can move on from that topic.

Although it is hard to vote against Giotto.

Giotto. Seeing Giaconmetti's stuff on one too many childhood field trips to the Albright Knox has left me cold on him.

I really like Giacometti, but I've gotta go with Giotto.

Me: Giotto by a frosty, ice-skating mile.

Here's a vote-by-mail for Giotto as well.

Giotto. Both of these artists have art that all looks pretty much the same, but I like Giotto's better. More divebombing angels, more gold.

And it's Giotto by a landslide in a surprisingly apathetic third-round ballot! We'll see how he does in his next challenge, against some Dutch guy.

Voting closed in this pairing.
