The Infinite Art Tournament, Left Bracket Second Round Elimination: van Scorel v. Schongauer!

In the IAT bracket structure, artists who make it to Second Round Elimination often share some kind of history.  In the case of Jan van Scorel and Martin Schongauer, that history is that they've both been defeated by Kurt Schwitters.  Seriously, don't even mention collage to either one of them right now.  It's kind of a sore subject.

Jan van Scorel
1495 - 1562
Dutch

Martin Schongauer
c.1435 - 1491
German

Vote for the artist of your choice in the comments, or any other way that works for you. Commentary and links to additional work are welcome. Polls open for at least one month past posting, but likely much longer.

I'll vote Schongauer, for that last one.

I'm with Morgan, Schongauer solely for the last one.

Schongauer.

I got to go with the first guy. I'm fascinated with the naked muscular woman. That was not a body type that would have been popular to paint back then, I'm thinking.

aaaand it looks like Van Scorel came from behind and held on for a seven to five victory. Let's see how he does against Seurat in the next round!
