Over the Ground Lies a Mantle of White

This is going to mean NOTHING to those of you who live in Cleveland, Pennsylvania, New York, and all those other East Coast places to which our dominant American cultural references ("white Christmas," indeed) pertain....

but it is snowing like MAD in the City of Roses. Easily the most snow Castle5000 has seen since it became Castle5000. It's quite beautiful! And inconvenient!

We've got nothing here in NJ .... and haven't had anything in years around Christmas time it seems. Enjoy your White Christmas!

Oh it looks so pretty! Snow is really fun - especially if your whole city shuts down and you don't have to do anything but sit around under a stack of quilts drinking cocoa.

I'll have to make do with the beach again today. ;)

Purty, purty snow!

And I don't think I've mentioned, but I'm loving the holiday banner.

Oh, it's just the banner we've been running for the last few weeks -- made by MyDogIsChelsea -- with a few little tinkerings I did last night.

I does look pretty but I understand the inconvenience. Right now it is raining all over Ohio. Shoot we may be in the 50-60 range by the end of the week. It's madness I tell you.
