Varo, with a nod to De Hooch.

I agree with the other comments that they are both good, but I like Varo better.

I've grown to like Varo's work quite a lot, but for me it resonates less deeply than the luminous marvels of the everyday in De Hooch.

Varo here too - though as pretty much everyone has said, De Hooch is pretty amazing as well.

I hadn't heard of Varo before this tournament, but I quickly became a fan. Varo!

Varo gets a postal vote.

de Hooch for me, what with the luminous marvels.

Varo, as I prefer the fantastic to the everyday, at least today.

And it's the fantastic prevailing over the luminous marvels of the everyday, 8 to 3! Varo proceeds to an interesting Round Four Matchup; de Hooch flips over to await the verdict in Hobbema v. Hicks.
