Hodler for me, too! My second choice would be Hockney.

An attempt to make my vote not count? Err, I'll go with Hockney.

Second guy for sure. I like that one of the pool. I call it "Phantom Cannonball."

Hockney's work is inventive, appealing, and of our time. Da Fabriano's work--what comparatively little has survived--is exquisitely rendered and not of our time. For me, it has a gentleness and mastery of detail that bridges the centuries quite beautifully. Da Fabriano has my vote.

I feel like a real Philistine voting against Gentile da Fabriano, especially after what the missus just said, but I think I'm going to have to go for Hockney on the strength of the photomontage thing.

To err is human, Chuckdaddy.

In this case I'm overriding my kids' vote and saying Fabriano.

And after a year and change, it's finally time to shut this one down. It closes with Mr. Hockney on top, 8 votes to 5. He'll get back into the action tomorrow.
