The Infinite Art Tournament, Left Bracket Third Round: Raeburn v. Zorn!

If it weren't for ties, this would be the match where the winner of Laurencin/Matta took on the loser of Metsu/Michelangelo.  But there were ties.  So, we've got Raeburn (who beat Laurencin) against Zorn (who lost to Metsu) in a interestingly lopsided match.  Raeburn has been in seven previous Tournament matches, including a series of three ties in a row.  Zorn has only appeared three times.  Who will make it to one more appearance?  Let's find out!

Sir Henry Raeburn
1756 - 1823
British

Anders Zorn
1860 - 1920
Swedish

I'm going to give it to Raeburn. I think I actually slightly prefer Zorn's style, but not enough to give it to him in the light of his coming 100 years later.

Hmmm, yes, Zorn for me. I always like a little context.

It's a tie! It's a tie! Zorn's first, although his bracket position was shifted to help resolve the Metsu/Michelangelo tie. But -- bizarrely -- it's Raeburn's fourth. He's now at 3-1-4, and we'll be waiting to see how this one is going to play out.
