The Infinite Art Tournament, Left Bracket Third Round: Estes v. Foujita!

It's been almost three years since Tsugouharu Foujita lost to Lyonel Feininger in Round Three, and ever since he's been pacing back and forth in the green room, chain-smoking cheap French cigarettes and waiting for the resolution of the Elsheimer/Epstien tie, which turned out to be basically irrelevant. Today he leaps back into the fray versus Richard Estes, a living American who is still hot off his recent upset of Edvard Munch. Who will survive this outing? Let's find out!

Are we sure the top Estes is not a photograph? Anyway, I'm still loving Estes, but it's good to have you back Foujita.

Ooh, a close 'un -- but Estes hangs on to his early lead to prevail against Foujita by a single vote.
